  • This talk will share ways divorcing or divorced parents of a child with a disability can effectively coparent, by focusing on the child, and how parents can meet their child's needs in each home.

  • Mary Ann Hughes, mother of sons on the autism spectrum, founded Special Family Transitions after her own divorce journey, and became a Certified Special Needs Divorce Coach, Mediator, and Parenting Coordinator, to help other families save emotional energy, time, and money in their divorce transitions.

    In addition to individualized coaching, Mary Ann shares her expertise on summits, podcasts, publications, live events, and various online platforms.

    As the Co-Director of the Special Needs Chapter of the National Association of Divorce Professionals, as well as contributor and instructor for the CDC Certified Special Needs Coach program, Mary Ann is honored to support and educate families and professionals in divorce and transitions involving children with disabilities.
